For an enjoyable excursion, Corrales Winery is located in the community and opens their a tasting room several times each week to receive guests. The winery also offers wonderful views of local scenery, especially the Sandia Mountains.


Many residents commute to nearby Albuquerque, located an easy-to-drive twenty-five minutes south of the community, primarily along I-25. There, they can enjoy the big city amenities, including shopping and cultural attractions, and return home to the quiet and comfort of Corrales. The community is also convenient to Rio Rancho to the west and Bernalillo to the north.
